We will look at the virtual worlds and cyberspace and assess the usefulness of tools and techniques used by humans to utilise computers. Our aim in the programme is to make software and systems both usable and useful. Graduates will have specific domain knowledge of interactive systems designed to support everything from the conventional single user working to e-commerce, virtual worlds, multimedia and collaborative applications.

 

 
 

The dept. offers to the front end technologies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology through an elaborate setup of laboratories.

 
     
 
The labs are equipped with PIV! Pili! Celeron PC, 8 powerful servers networked in three different environments like linux,Windows - NT & Novel] Netware. Students also get access to the cyber world of information through Internet to keep pace with the latest developments in their respective fields. All the labs are equipped with the latest softwares. The students are developing their' skills using ORACLE 8i,VC ++,VB ++,VJ ++ & Internet tools apart from traditional packages like C!CH, FORTRAN, DOS, MS-OFFICE,AUTOCAD etc. The students are also encouraged to follow-up in the laboratories the latest developments in the field of Information Technology like web page design,e-com etc.
